Start your 3D journey right with Stage One. Juic3D IT Stage One regular course targets students who have zero or limited knowledge about game and product design. In this stage, students will be brought back to the basics by converting digital games back to analog version. They will be required to brainstorm ideas and research on theories and principles to complete the task given. Based on their sketches, the student will have to come up with a paper prototype of the given task. Through such exercises, the students will better understand how games work and its game play. This course is great for anyone who plans to be a game/product designer.
In this roller coaster series, students will take on the role of a theme park designer to design a roller coaster using art and craft stationeries and materials. Besides coming up with a solid design, students also have to fulfil the different criteria given in the course.
In Keep Fresh!, students have to use the materials given and design a mechanism that helps prolong packet food fresh. With given keywords such as portability and reusability to be considered in the course, students have to come up with a prototype that fulfils these requirements.
Find my Mug course aims to solve a problem raised by busy executives who could not find space to sit the mug on their working table. Students will be given several art materials to design their prototype.
In analog Bomber Man, students will have to analyze the digital version of Bomber Man and digest the scenarios in this famous game. Students will understand the different game play and bring the game back to analog version.
In Stage Two Juic3D Designer 3D Printing course, students will be thrown a daily lifestyle problem and are encouraged to digest and understand the problem statement, tackle each highlighted areas and finally design a solution that can help solve the problem and contribute to the community. They will learn to acquire the different principles and techniques used to create a 3D model and applying these skills in order to give details and improve on their models. They will understand the limitations of a 3D Printer and independently amend their models to be ready for 3D Printing!
In Phonder, students will be given a problem statement to solve issues of mobile phone left on a table of mess. Students are required to design a product that can hold the mobile phone in a way that not only it can stand upright, it also enables the phone to charge while standing.
In Happy Wires, the students will be thrown a problem statement on messy wires found in music-goers, who always chuck their earphones in their bags. Using the research keywords, students will get to research and reference ideas that help keep wires organized and easy to release, solving a daily life problem.
In Relieve Read, students will be given a problem statement on readers who travel and read at the same time. With comprehensive requirements identified, students will design a product that help bookworms to read with one hand with ease and comfort.
In Carry Me Ease, students are task to come up with a design solution to help shoppers who frequent supermarket and carry bags of groceries. With a given criteria and scope, the students will brainstorm for ideas, sketch and model their design and finally 3D Print out their prototype!
Juic3D Modeller brings students to another level of 3D Modelling. Students will understand more about the different perspective and explore various tools and methods when sculpting their 3D models using a professional software. Student will also generate a set of 3D Models and present them in augmented reality. Challenge yourself and acquire a new skill that wow your friends.
This course aims to introduce students to the world of outer space and learn about the different planets, transportation means and life in the outer space. Through the use of Augmented Reality, students will create the 9 planets in the solar system and a spaceship that brings them to Outer Space!
